About

Andrew Walsh is a producer, engineer, musician, and composer from San Diego, CA. He began his musical career in secondary school, playing guitar in community theater musicals and gigging with his band.

In 2012, he received an Associates in Recording Arts from TRAC at Studio West and soon after joined the studio as a staff engineer. Over the next twelve years he conducted thousands of hours of recording sessions, honing his craft while also earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Humanities from the University of California, San Diego in 2017.

Post-COVID, Andrew performed locally with San Diego New Verbal Workshop (SdNVW), loitering, Jeremy Field, Bella Cloud, Omo Cloud, Jordan Krimston, and Drew Pelisek, singing or playing drums, bass, guitar, or synthesizer.

As of 2024, Andrew has worked as a freelance engineer and producer across several San Diego studios. He is a founding member of SdNVW and a frequent collaborator with Zane Alexander S.B.

Andrew is available for remote mixing and mastering work, collaborating with artists internationally. In July 2025 he relocated to Cork City, Ireland, where he is pursuing a Masters in Music and Technology at MTU Cork School of Music while continuing his freelance production and engineering practice.
